My name is Lynne Schachte, I have received your USTA Facility Assistance Form and will serve as your project manager. This project falls under a Category II grant, which can match up to 50% of the total cost (up to $25,000).

To get the review process started, please send me the following:

  • 6-8 photos of the court conditions along with photos showing access gates, parking lots, and sidewalks

  • Sketch of the court layout with dimensions noted in feet and inches. Dimensions should include the following:

    1. Sideline to fence

    2. Baseline to fence

    3. Distance between court sidelines

    4. Distance and/or location of any light posts inside the court fencing

    5. Width and location of access gates

  • Contractor’s written estimate with detailed scope of work. Please click HERE to access the details that should be included in a full and complete resurfacing estimate.

Please note that the grant review process may take 2-4 months before a funding application is released. It is important not to begin any work until the technical review is complete and we have released the funding application. Starting construction prematurely could jeopardize potential funding.

HERE is a resource document that outlines our process. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We also want to ensure you are connected with your local USTA Section office (contact info below).
