This is a modified list from the handout. I halved the prices.
Sponsors for Blocks makes sense to me. If a donor sponsors a block, can anther donor sponsor a court in the block?
Perhaps we can get the Sponsors name painted on the sunshade in their block?
Summary of below: $1,240,000 = (2 x $300,000) + (5 x $120,000) + $25,000 + $15,000-
Block of Three covered courts: (2) $300,000
-
$150,000 (or one court for $50,000)
-
$125,000 Pavilion - roof structure over courts
-
$25,000 Fencing and security
-
-
Block of Two outdoor courts (5): $120,000
-
$100,000 (or one court for $50,000)
-
$20,000 Fencing and security
-
-
Fencing (8): $15,000 (included in the blocks above )
15 x 8=$120,000. (2 x 25)+(5 x 20) = $150,000 -
Patron Garden Seating Area: $25,000
-
Large Shade Canopies (2): $15,000
-
-
Included the fencing prices (Item 3) in the court block prices (Items 1 and 2)
-
Buy a Brick Campaign:
-
City will cover the cost of the bricks so all money raised can be used for the project
-
There are approximately 700 bricks for sale. Each brick can have 2 lines of dedication and each brick is available for $125 (700 x $125 = $87,500)
-
Construction of the Patron Garden and brick display is our responsibility
-
-
Major enhancements to be considered on existing courts like lighting:
Incorporate these projects into the new construction. When USTA TVS engineers are onsite to plan new construction, we can add enhancements to the project for their consideration and advice. -
Project competition: discussion of what we know about plans at other facilities competing for attention and money.
-
6:38 meeting adjourned.

Thanks interested people and donors!
Please let me know if you have comments on these minutes.
